Hay Hotfooters Running Club was founded in 2004

We are a small but very friendly club with a current membership of 25 and counting, we warmly welcome new members. Anyone wishing to join the club can get in touch through the contact page and arrange to have a taster session on a training night before signing up.
We are very fortunate to be surrounded by amazing countryside and a wealth of places to run. Training nights are Thursdays 6.30 Meet at St Johns Hall opposite The Wheatsheaf (we may meet earlier if running else where). Please refer to the training page for a list of runs through out the year. Our membership encourages runners of all abilities and ages. Each session is designed to work for all levels and you will never be left to run on your own.

Hay Hotfooters Brummies Burn 2009

Socialising comes a big second to running particularly after an event. There are always well deserved pub lunches to be had after a race. Many of us take part in multi terrain, road and fell races throughout the year and enjoy the camaraderie found amongst fellow runners. If you don't want to take part in the race come along to support us and enjoy the meal afterwards.

As well as taking part in other Running Club events we organise our own race The Magic Roundabout. We need volunteers to help marshal on the day. Next year the race will be held on;
Sunday 31st of May.

The Begwns is common land about 4 miles from Hay-on-Wye and the site of The Magic Roundabout 10k race.
